Born in Canada but now at home in North Carolina after some years in the Texas Hill Country, I'm a self-taught artist who enjoys capturing the free wheeling spirit of a Texas Cowboy or the delicate beauty of a sensuous lady. I especially like to work with "everyday people" who freely share the passion for their life's moment, real or imagined, being illustrated. Generating an illustration is a solitary experience... but is the result of observing and interacting with people. I have had the opportunity to live a variety of life styles ranging from service in a NATO military unit to managing a video/publications group. Even though I recognize life situations as possible pieces of art, my creativity must be complemented by the subject's energy to complete the experience.
